Southco expands India footprint through Darshana acquisition

CONCORDVILLE, Pa. / PUNE, India — Southco, a TouchPoint, Inc. company, announced it has acquired Darshana Industries, the Pune-based designer and manufacturer of access hardware, control-panel components, and support-arm systems. The transaction establishes Southco as the most complete engineered access hardware platform in India, complementing Southco's existing regional headquarters and Pune manufacturing plant.

Darshana Industries, founded in 1982, serves the Indian OEM base across transportation, off-highway, telecommunications, and industrial control panels. The company will operate under its own name within Southco.
