Founded in 1982 and built by a family that understood Indian manufacturing from the inside, Darshana became one of the country's most respected specialists in control-panel and access hardware — six thousand standard and custom components shipped from Pune into OEM assembly lines across South Asia and beyond.
In May 2022, Southco acquired Darshana. The rationale was straightforward: Southco already operated in Pune. Darshana already supplied the Indian OEM base Southco wanted to reach at scale. Together they form the most complete access hardware offering in India, operating within a global platform.
Darshana continues to operate under its own name, on its own premises, with its own engineering teams. That is how TouchPoint holds what it buys.
