Southco
"Engineered Access Solutions."
In 1899 in the oil country of western Pennsylvania, Southco was founded as a specialty pipe manufacturer. In 1945 the company pivoted to engineered fasteners. The trajectory that followed — patents, markets, acquisitions, global footprint — is the trajectory of TouchPoint itself.
Today Southco designs and manufactures more than 75,000 standard and custom access hardware solutions. Engineers in every major industrial sector on earth specify Southco latches, hinges, handles, and electronic access controls because reliability at the point of contact is not negotiable.
Sixteen facilities. Ten countries. Sales and engineering in more than thirty more. From Concordville to Worcester, from Hong Kong to Chihuahua, Southco builds the precision mechanical and electronic details that lock, seal, hinge, and secure the equipment modern economies run on.
"We don't make the thing. We make the part of the thing the engineer reaches for."
